Restaurant was poorly lighted and cold. Very difficult to read the menu in such poor lighting. Service was quick. I had the Hot Lips Plate with the honey bbq sauce, slaw, and fries. The chicken was tender and juicy and the breading was nicely brown and crisp. The honey bbq sauce was no better than Kraft Tangy BBQ Sauce that you can get at any grocery store and there was no where near enough of it. The sauce was basically drizzled on the chicken nuggets. The cole slaw was more like a cold slaw like soup. No flavor, watered down, and too much dressing which caused an overflow out of the small bowl onto the plate. Very watery. The fries are nothing to brag about. Could have had more of a seasoning on the fries so they didn't taste like something out of the freezer section of Walmart. Our server brought our ticket to us when we were only half way through our meal and told us that if we wanted to order dessert, we could just ask her. In the middle of a good meal, I want to savour the test of what's in front of me without looking at a ticket. This was a bad meal, so it basically just added to my reasons for not wanting to return. The server asked how our meal was and we both told her that it was simply mediocre and that we could have had better chicken strips at O'Charleys. The manager came to the table, apologized somewhat, and didn't charge us for the meal. Made no attempts to salvage the poor service so I could tell that he was simply trying to please us to get us out rather than have us return in hopes that he might could prove that we should be return customers. This place is taking up valuable space in Patton Creek and needs to move out so something good can come in it's place.
