Tajitu Ethiopian Restaurant, Frederick

There are no words to describe this place. Awful. The place was empty when we got there and I should have known better. Everything tasted the same, crappy.

I agree with what has been written before. The food is really great (don't try the tar-tar!), and the wait staff wonderful. A great family meal!

We first tried Tajitu thanks to a coupon in a local restaurant guide. WOW.. glad we did.. the restaurant was beautifuly decorated and charming. The service was efficient and pleasant. The food was delicious and served quickly. We will definately return.

My husband and I went in there last month for our date night and we had a wonderful dinner. We each ordered an appetizer, entree and shared a bottle of wine. We had a BOGO coupon for our entree and we managed to get out of there for only $50. The food was delicious, the place was quaint and the service was attentive. What a great find in Frederick!

I wil tell you when I first saw the portion size I was a little skeptical. But I had leftovers and left with a really full stomach. The vegetarian foods where amazing. They were really good about special orders too. The service was amazing. Also a great place for mom's night out as well.

This food is SO good. We had Yemisir Sambuso - an appetizer of lentils and veggies in pastry and Ethiopian potato salad - tangy from lemon with a bite of pepper. For an entree, we shared a Vegetarian Combo, which was 5 of their dishes. Loved every bite! Beautiful atmosphere. Lovely service. We'll definitely be back!
