I recently had dinner at this retaurant and YES the food is excellent, but the pricing is much higher than one should pay for a meal that includes only the dinner, no salad, no vegetable, nothing. It's all Ala Cart and the salads range from $7.00 to 10.00 while the meals on the menu range from $12.00-15.00, which isn't bad. It's the specials, please make sure you ask your wattress the pricing of the specials because you might consider purchasing whats on the menu. The veal dishes that evening were $26.00 a plate. I had a chicken dish and was charged $26.00, I'm sorry but no chicken meal is worthy of such a high price. This included the chicken special with some linguini, that's it. You are also charged a fee to open any bottles of wine that you've brought. I just think that since people are watching their money now more than ever a restaurant trying to make a name for itself should have done more research on pricing in and around the Hooksett area if he/she expects the restaurant to work. It was the first time that I've gone there and it will be the last, that might be what the owner is tayloring his business too, who knows. You'll have a great dinner, but you might have to put your car up as collateral.
I can't believe nobody has written a review yet. Location and ambiance are not the greatest, but as soon as you taste the food you'll forget everything else. Great sandwiches for lunch (try the Milanese!) and the dinner specials are equally amazing. There's only 1 man in the kitchen, so service can get slow if it's busy but I assure you it's always worth the wait. Just bring a bottle of wine, relax, and enjoy the music while he prepares the most enjoyable italian food around. (yes, it's byob...)
