The Seville Club
One of the most popular guests of The Seville Hotel was the incomparable Benny Melton, nationally recognized as one of the top burlesque Emcees and singers to play the burlesque circuit. With his unique style and beautiful singing voice, he was in high demand all over the country, but always made time to play at the famous Alvin Theater in his hometown of Minneapolis. Ironically, the new Seville is now owned and operated by Dino Perlman the great grand nephew of Benny Melton. Dino is as much a key figure in the Minneapolis entertainment scene of today, as was his great uncle.
