Aquaria Seafood Grill, High Point

A friend invited me out to experience Aquaria, since she had been there many times and loved it. We enjoyed live music and a wonderful light meal. She had the Greek salad and I the Steak salad; together we shared the calamari. Everything was delicious! Salads were fresh and crisp, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the calamari was out of this world. They gave us a choice of two dipping sauces, but there was really no need for it. Unlike many places that do not season the batter, their seasoning was awesome! Portions for price? Excellent! Taste in comparison? Outstanding! Will return to try more and recommend to others.

We really liked the menu selection and variety. We only wished they would take a reservation. But is very much worth the wait.

My girlfriend and I came here at the suggestion of someone she knew. I was dressed in sweats. From the time, I arrived, I was apprehensive about going in because it appeared to be somewhat upscale. Well, after finally deciding that I'm here to eat, not to impress; we went in. I must say, it's a very impressive place. The owners must be proud!! We were seated in a booth, where the chairs were black, high-back and very comfortable. Over our table, hung an ambiance light and to our right, you could view the guest as they came in to the restaurant. Looking at the menu, I was a bit taken back. The prices seemed extravagant, but once you received your food, it was well worth it. I was served a crisp, deliciously fresh house salad with ranch dressing and a basket of different bread varieties (french, cornbread, and an herbed biscuit). The biscuits are to die for. Then came our entree. We both ordered the fried shrimp and scallops combo. She ordered baked potato (loaded) and I ordered asparagus. Everything was delicious. The shrimp and scallops were succulent. We are going to make this a special monthly trip. Girls nite out. (They also serve mixed drinks, wine and beer). Plus there is a wet bar. I really enjoyed it. This will be the place where I will ask to go if I'm ever asked out anywhere.

Once a month there are a group of us to frequent Aquaria. We go for several reasons. Number 1 The band THE LAST RESORT plays there the first Thursday of each month. Number 2 The wait staff is wonderful. Number 3 The food. Several of us look forward to our monthly night at Aquaria and continue to invite others to join us. This band packs the house. You just can't go wrong. Thank You Aquaria for food and entertainment. You guys are a class act

We had a most divine dinner December 13, 2008. The service, the food, wine, and dessert were supperb. The price was right in line with everything else. Aquaria is conveniently located near a shopping area as well as the Ashford Suites Hotel. We will tell friends to eat dinned at Aquaria.

Great ambiance. Perfect for a date night. Is a little pricey. My favorite is the shrimp and grits. Great location off of Eastchester. They have a make your own combination which gives the customer a little creativity when ordering.

My wife, grandson, and I went to this restaurant on an off night. The restaurant is furnished nicely and the waitstaff was good. I found the menu to be is pricey precluding me from making it a regular spot. The food was well prepared and the menu selection was good. We did have somewhat of a bad experience there however. There was a man sitting at the bar talking loudly with the waitstaff and using quite a bit of profane language. The waitstaff seemed unwilling (or insensitive enough) to ask him to turn it down so I had to approach him myself and ask him to refrain from using the profane language. He was immediately apologetic and ceased the cursing. Other than that the experience was good and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for an upscale restaurant.

This is my favorite restaurant. The early specials are great..the food wonderful and the service as well. We moved from that area over a year ago and now reside on the opposite side of Guilford Co. but that has not stopped us from driving 20 mi to have a wonderful dinner each and everytime. High gas prices did not even stop us..I would rate this with 10 stars if I could. Keep up the great work of making this a fabulous place to dine...

Excellent, Very Fresh, excellently prepared, great service. Appetizers are half price on Sundays. Excelllent wine list and beer.
