L.A.'s wildly popular Sushi Roku is now in the newly expanded Forum Shops on the Las Vegas Strip. With it's critically acclaimed Modern Japanese fare and Zen-like atmosphere, Sushi Roku is a favorite among both locals and visitors. Reservations are recommended. Showed up on time for a 9:30pm reservation last night. Was asked to wait a few minutes. Eventually left at 10pm without being seated. Several other couples were seated in the mean time. Maybe you should plan on tipping the hostess to be seated? Other top-end sushi options in Vegas, not the least of which is Nobu. Stay away from Sushi Roku.
This has got to be the best dining I have had so far in Vegas. The sushi was outstanding, server had just the right amount of attentiveness, and the views were beautiful. Sushi Roku has a casual elegance without being too full of itself. A must try dish is the Yellowtail Sashimi with chili. This place will not disappoint you.
