HORRIBLE! We had a surprise birthday party for my sister. Once all of the guest arrived it took the waitress (Candy) 25 minutes to ask us if we wanted to order drinks. We had a total of 26 ppl in our party. (that had been previously reserved) they should have been more than one waitress. Once she came out with the drinks she told us that she had only two arms and she would get the drinks out as fast as she could. (No customer service skills) Finally an hour in to service another waitress Ashley came over to help her and she was a delight. Everytime Candy came to take our order or help us she was very very rude. Then she dropped the butter bowl on my chair. So it bounced off my back and got on the chair. My mom said please be careful and Candy said its not like it got on her. Without any apology. At that point we decided to talk to the General Manager which was no help at all. We did not want her helping us anymore but she kept coming to the tables taking plates but never once said anything else to our table. So we did not get our refills, to go plates or anything else we had to ask a waitress that was helping another table. So I spoke with the General Manager again and explained with the gratuity added in we wanted Ashley to receive it and not Candy since she made the entire evening bad. Not to mention how much money 26 ppl spent in their and the food wasn't even that good. He said oh ok I will handle it. Without a care in the world I am sure that he gave her the tip which was unfare when she didn't even do her job. I work in customer service and to be treated that way was very upsetting. Please be careful if you choose to go their for dinner or party. Customer Service is very important! I will tell everyone I know about this experience and wish no one else has to go through that when dining and trying to have a good time. Ashley thanks for helping! Candy if you don't like people you should get out of the customer service industry. I understand we all have off days but customers should never have to pay for it. Please Beware When Visiting Manhattans!!!
This restaurant was a complete disappointment to myself and the group that accompanied me there for dinner on a Tuesday evening. I should have known that it wasn't going to turn out well when we walked in and had to wait for almost 5 minutes before being greeted by a hostess to seat us. The service from the waitress wasn't much better either. She took care of our table with minumum effort or concern for the needs of the guest whom sat there. There 2 for 20 menu was a complete joke. The food later turned out to be even more unsatisfying as their service. As for myself, along with the others that visited this establishment with me all swore that none of us would ever return. I recomend that you take my advice and save yourself the bad taste that their poor service and bad food will leave in your mouth..
