The owner, Henry Ling and family (Sibu Fookchows from Malaysia), practices unethical tactics. For instance, we included our tips every visit in the credit card bill, but the waiters complained to us that we never leave any tip! Looks like Henry Ling is keeping the tips to themselves! A lot of the workers have left.
Also, have had food poisoning after eating there, and now I read a review of roaches in the sweet and sour chicken. We are not surprised. They were forced to undergo renovation because of the severe health hazards there, e.g. roaches, insects, etc.
Also Henry Ling is very unethical in his outside dealings. For instance, he got a realtor to look for an investment home for him, but when the realtor found the home he wanted, he pretended not to want the house, therefore depriving a hard working American of his commission, and gave (or shared) the commission with one of his fellow countryman. Please avoid this place for health hazards and unethical practices. We have vowed never to go there again!
For historical perspective, Sibu Fookchows from Malaysia are ultra clannish, and would at all cost give their business to other Fookchows, even if it means engaging in unethical practices. Hard working Americans should not condone this practice here in the US.
When I first when to Hong Kong 2 It was good..... But then I went back with my parents and well there were roches in the sweet and sour chicken.... When I called the FDA they said they had other investagations pending on them for other instets... So I would no go back again...
