Excellent food. I was apprehensive to try Thai food but a friend convinced my fiance and I...one of the best food decisions we've ever made! Now we go there every Friday. The Pad Thai, House Noodles and Prig King are among our favorites. The ambiance is nice if you go at night, during the day it feels a little dreary though. And what's especially great--BYOB/Wine with no corking fee.
Going out with a bunch of friends? Grab a couple of bottles of wine and head over to Taste of Thai. You can eat like royalty (with appetizers, salads and entrees) and pay only $20-$25 a person. You can stay as long as you like and the ambience is casual. The waitstaff are pleasant, funny and indulgent. This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Buffalo. The food is heavenly. Try the larb with beef, mee krob, green papaya salad, eggplant (with garlic or basil...both excellent) and any curry dish (wet or dry). Ok, so it is a bit dark...we mature women like it that way!
I very much like taste of thai. It is very good, I like Bobbie he is very very nice man. Everything on menu is excellent. I recommend you do not bring a pretty girl because Bobbie is quite the laddies man. Ok enjoy my friend~
AA great little place on Hertel. The food is excellent and they give you large portions for the price. They dont have their liquor license, but they allow you to bring in your own wine. They open it, bring you glasses ect. It has become our favorite Thai place in town.
