Logan's Roadhouse, Fort Smith

We recently scheduled a retirement party for our boss at Logans. Two people called to confirm and state the size of the party and our boss and his wife talked to the manager about the room and the size of the party. When we got to our party, apparantly nobody knew anything about it and then stated that we had scheduled a party for 18. We had several times stated that the party was for 40 to 60 people. We had approximately 50. Some of the guests had to eat in the main area, while others stood for approximately 45 minutes while waiting for tables and chairs. They also had a birthday party and another table of customers in the room we had reserved. Towards the end of the party waiters kept coming in and out of the doors as if to hurry us along. I was a regular customer of Logans and I was very disappointed to see how we were treated. I doubt if you see very many of the 50 other customers that were in our party.

After attending a retirement party at Logan's Roadhouse in Fort Smith, AR, I will never eat there again. Arrangements for a party of 50 in a private room were made in person with the manager. The room was looked at before hand and was ideal for a party of 50. There were calls ,also, before the party to the restaurant making sure everything was as planned. I arrived 15 minutes before party time (6:30) and the waiters were sitting up more tables, there were people standing all around the wall of this small room with no place to sit, and another party had been set up in this room causing part of our party to have to sit in another room. It was a major calamity. The manager said he didn't know, which employee could have made such a mistake. He was told he was the person that had been talked to (in person). He had written down there would only be 18 people. This was probably the other group in the room with us. It was an hour or more before we were able to get our food and it was cold. They had only 2 waiters taking our orders. Some people left the party without ever getting any food. What should have been a great retirement party for a great boss and friend was a disaster and embarrassment. One of the guests that attended said that this was the third party he had attended at Logans that was a disaster. I would give it no stars, except it won't post the review without doing so.

This place has the best ribs in town! The bread is awesome and I always have to buy extra to take home. We love the food so much. It is always cooked just right, and always presented in an appitizing manner. Normally, we use the take out but dining in is just as good. The ambiance is more country, which is something I don't really care for, but it works for Logan's. For a great meal at a great price with good service, this place can't be beat.
