Horrible! Customer service stinks: Here is the letter I wrote to the franchise...

I-Hop:
When visiting your restaurant last night, located at 229 Airport Road, Arden NC, my family was VERY unsatisfied with the lack of service offered to us. We were not greeted upon entering the restaurant. After waiting over ten minutes and still no one had greeted or seated us I had to walk behind the counter and ask to be seated. Once seated we waited another 15 minutes and our waiter still had not approached the table, spoken to us once or acknowledged our wait. I would have understood had he been extra busy, which there was hardly anyone in his section, but he could have at least taken our drink order or apologized for our wait. I have worked as a waitress and in retail many years in the past and I found this VERY rude. You always greet customers when they enter your restaurant or store. Customers should be number one, they are the reason your business is there and the reason you stay open. Because of the lack of service we left and did not give our business to I-Hop. Upon leaving a member of our party approached our waiter and told him why we were leaving, he never apologized, she looked at her. What kind of people do you have representing your business? Because of the way we were treated last night we will no longer give an I-Hop restaurant our business, and not just in Asheville but anywhere that we travel. The people working at your I-Hop restaurant represent a franchise and they are giving the entire company a bad name. Never the less we will spread the word about this bad service to hopefully warn others of your bad customer service skills.
I wish you the best of luck in fixing this problem so that others will not walk out like we did.
