Meriwether's Restaurant & Skyline Farm
Meriwether's is one of only a few restaurants in the United States that grow and harvest the vegetables for our farm-to-table menu at our very-own Meriwether's Skyline Farm, located just 20 minutes from the restaurant. Inside, experience our warm and cozy ambiance with stone fireplaces, hardwood floors, stained glass and copper accents. Outside, guests dine year-round in the covered, heated & enclosed patio, gardens & gazebo. There is even a outdoor firepit, so perfect for a chilly Portland evening. Take a walk through our gorgeous all-season garden that surrounds the entire 2601 Vaughn Street historic building. Meriwether's continues to establish itself as the perfect place to gather with family & friends, unwind after work, create memorable special occasion & private dining events or to simply sit by either the fireplace or the European fountain and enjoy a wonderful glass of wine.

I have loved Meriweather's every time I have been in there. Their food is superb and their drinks are stiff. It's on the high end of dining, so don't expect a screamin deal here, just some food that warrants a higher price tag. In response to the other reviewers, this is a page for the restaurant, not the servers. Tip accordingly people. Complain to management. That's what they're there for.
My husband received a gift certificate to Meriwethers as a going away gift from his company. The gift certificate was purchased with a receipt of purchase for $150 and because Meriwethers is located in the state we were moving to we were told to pick up the certificate at the restaurant - Meriwethers didn't mail it to us. I contacted Meriwethers several months after the purchase (there was no expiration date on the certificate receipt) because we were still in the process of moving into the area and I was told to wait until the weather was nice to try the restaurant when we could enjoy their outdoor dining. When I called to make a reservation I confirmed their location and mentioned we had a certificate receipt and wanted to confirm the amount. They had no record of the purchase on their end and therefore would not honor the purchase. I later faxed the dated letter of purchase which had the name of the individual whom the purchase was made through, and still this certificate was not honored. I feel the customer service at this establishment was less than adequate. I would not do business with the restaurant in good Wether or bad Wether. This is no Nordstroms of restaurants!!
