We first discovered Zappo's when they first opened. At that time they were located inside a small local grocery store at S.E. 45th and Johnson creek,
We have been loyal customers ever since. Good people, Great Pizza. When my sons and I think Pizza, We think Zappo's it's automatic.
Sincerely, Kevin C
I was referred to Zappos through their rewards program. I received an e-mail coupon for 50% OFF YOUR NEXT ORDER. When I went to ordered I was told that they would not honor the coupon and I would receive 50% off a single pizza. I was given the typical run around about how it was a mistake and they were sorry and blah, blah, blah. You know the drill. Maybe I have a different form of integrity but when you offer something, you stand by your word. What does this say about the company? You decide. I already have. There are many other companies that have higher integrity. I should have read reviews before doing business with them, “decent food”, “They got my order right” these are not the reviews that would bring me to deal with a dishonest company. It might be a new concept to some but it's called voting with your dollars. I will be voting elsewhere.
Best value that I've found, by far, in the Gresham area. I have classes nearby at MHCC and I make it a point to stop by Zappo's for Their (HUGE and delicious) personal size pizza and a Pepsi deal before class
Also, the place is unpretentious and friendly and reminds me of some old favorites from my home town.
Very Bad Experiance: I had called Zappos an orderd a few pizzas and the person wrote down the card number wrong and the delivery person had come back to my residence the next day and was very rude and threatned my family.. when i pointed out he wrote the number wrong he rudely informed me they dont make that big of a mistake.. well unfortantly when i called the store the owners daughter picked up and was even more rude then the delivery person.. when he came to my residence he threatend to report us for fraud ect.
Unfortantly you have lost a customer and i will never order from you again and ill not suggest your company to any of my friends and/or family.
I have worked at a few pizza places while in college and consider myself somewhat of an expert. Zappos is by far one of the better pizza delivery restaurants I have come across. The fact that they actually make their own dough is pretty impressive. At most places their dough made somewhere else and it is shipped in frozen. At Zappos you can really taste the quality of the cheese and sauce because they don't spice it all to hell. You know you are eating cheap pizza when it is too spicy to finish a single slice. Many chain restaurants over spice their food as a way to mask the use of cheap ingredients and can often lead to the feeling of “gut rot.” Zappos does a good job of letting you taste the ingredients on the pizza by using their spices subtly.
Although they have added more gourmet toppings to their menu recently, I would like to see gorgonzola cheese on the menu. Deliveries could be a little quicker. I usually get my order within 40 minutes but on occasions it takes 45-50 minutes.
Overall, Zappos is a pretty good pie for the price. Their quality standards seem to be pretty high. The pizzas consistently tastes very fresh and their mozzarella cheese is very rich and creamy.
Average Pizza, crust is so/so. Very spendy. $14.99 for a large cheese. Domino's has a large one toppings for $4.99. They gave me a $2.00 off coupon for next time. Not sure if I'll go back.
