I ate at the Epicurean a few nights ago and WOW, the food there is unbelievable. The Lobster Bisque is something you will remember forever and the Lamb melts in your mouth. I tried the Seabass as well which was also great. The Epicurean Cafe is cute and cozy; if you want a nice relaxing night out (w/ food to die for) head on over to Oak Street btw 8th and 9th.
We just happend upon this lovely resturant looking for lunch. What a wonderful find. This cafe is bright and sunny with lovely local artwork throughout. The menu was varied and all is made fresh. Lobster bisque was the best I've ever had and my sandwich on a baguette was perfect. Don't forget the deserts! They were to die for. I'll be back again and again. Thank you Marco and Rebecca for your lovely cafe and thanks Regina for your wonderful service!
We did not like any restaurant in Steamboat Springs until we had a lunch in the Epicurean Cafe and, what a difference a gourmet food can make after a hiking trip along the Yampa River! They use only organic ingredients and cook them to such perfection that even memories of such experience bring a pleasant taste to our palates. They truly deserve to be #1 in Steamboat Springs!
