Whoever wrote the bad review in March of 2011 either had a really off night at the Cafe Prague or they need to have their head examined. The food is excellent. We have been to Cafe Prague many times over the last few years, and it is on the top of our list of places to eat for special occasions. My husband s brother, who has dined at gastronomique restaurants all over the world and is an incredibly discerning diner, visited us in Denver a couple of years ago and was completely taken with the Cafe Prague. Their food prices are very reasonable, their ambiance and their service are excellent. If we had any criticism, it would be the price of their drinks, but never their food. We only wish we lived closer, so that we could eat there more often.
I couldn't disagree more with the positive remarks given to this restaurant. The restaurant scores high on ambiance, service, and cleanliness; but the food--the most important part of the experience--was a total disappointment. I was so dissatisfied that I wrote a personal letter to the owner and never heard a word back from him. I complemented everything, then gave my honest opinion of the food, and he never even took the time to write back. Believeme when an owner fails to reply to a hand-written letter, there are many things that he (or she) won't pay attention to either. I will NEVER return to this restaurant. EVER! If you like ambiance, service, cleanliness, and some of the worst food in Morrison (no, Colorado), than this Cafe Prague is for you. BTW: They are overpriced for their portions. I think the good reviews of this restaurant must be from friends, relatives and employees. Avoid this place!
Cafe Prague has a diverse menu - tough to choose! And of course the Czech beer available.
Made us feel we were in the real Prague - excellent Bohemian Duck and staples like goulash and
meat loaf. Make sure you get a reservation during the week - even though the hours say open until
9pm, they might close early if not too busy.
