I highly recommend two things. They have great homemade pies. And they make several great homemade soups. I particularly enjoy the cheddar tomato soup. I wish they had it more often.
They also have a fine Sunday breakfast buffet. I'm not used to brownies or cookies on a breakfast buffet. But theirs are homemade and great. They also have juice and a fresh fruit platter. In addition they have the standard eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc.
After visiting this restaurant recently, this is where we want to
go back to, everytime we are in the Plattsburgh area. The food and service were terrific. Delicious homemade jams and jellies can be purchased and are also served in large quantities at breakfast. There is a large variety of meals available and I don't think anyone will go away hungrey or dissatisfied. Quick-
draw is available for those interested, as well as scratch-offs.
In fact, I'm hoping they have gift certificates for our relatives who live in the area, and also love the place.
Just walk in and see the goods old country look,The food is done with care and heart. Not a five star but a real four star country restaurant. The staff caters to your every want and needs. Great job and food.
