Show-Me's, Evansville

Went there this past Friday night only because I was entered in a contest and that is where it was being held. I have been to the West Side location once for a party and it wasn't great. Neither was this time. We got right into the family room but had to wait for about 5 minutes for them to clean off a table. Waited about 15 mins to get in our drink order another 10 or so to get the drinks (and these were fountain drinks not mixed)! Waited another 15 mins to have our order taken and about 30 mins for the food! The food was okay, service not good at all! The server was not friendly. Will not go back to either location unless it is for another chance to win something!

have been in Show Me's numerous times and it amazes me how bad the service is. I usually do not eat there unless I have at least an hour to kill. The service is terribly slow. The last time I went was with a few friends one of which was celebrating his 21st birthday. We get there about 10 o'clock we stand at the door for five minutes with no hostess so we decide to seat ourselves. A young lady comes over to take our order and we explain how we are celebrating my friends 21st. She takes his order and only his order and speeds off to the bar to get his drink. We wait what seems like forever and she finally returns with his drink only to stumble and spill it all over him. She apologizes and rushes off to get him another drink. When she returns she gives him another drink and explains she has been cut and another waitress would be taking care of us, but no one ever came. We wait for 30 minutes and never see another waitress anywhere. No one even came to mop up the mess, we had to clean off the table ourselves with a roll of paper towels. My friend finishes his drink all the while sitting in a puddle. We figure it was a lost cause and get up and leave. When we got home one of my other friends who was with us called the manager to complain but the manager acted like she really didn't care. So after this experience I will not be eating there ever again.

this place sux and the girls dress like skanks...i wouldn't even give it one star, but i had to!!!
