El Jardin Fine Mexican Restaurant, Elk Grove

Most excellent place for an everyday lunch or a special occasion. I held my daughter's 21st bday there. The food, the staff, and service was exceptional. Aaron took care of the details for a party of 20 and accomodated my budget. All the guests said the food was delicious. Thank you for all you did and making it happen without a hitch!

Occasionally good food. Sadly the food in this restaurant varies with the cook on duty. Good service, but very mundane food. Seems to have gotten worse in the last year. It was very good but no longer.

We love this place! We go at least once a week. The food is great, reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly. Check it out!

I come from a family of fantastic Mexican cooks. My wife and I love the authentic food here and come at least once a week! The owner and staff are of the highest caliber, and the dishes are delicious! It's like being in Guadalajara eating authentic Mexican food! We take all our friends there when they are in town and they all agree! It's good eats!! Highly recommended!

I don't know what rstrnt that those two people went to that wrote those terrible reviews, something that bad had to come from a competitors head I would think because when I went to El Jardin for the first time, I was HOOKED! Being a latina myself I LOVE mexican food, so I try A LOT of different places and I have to say when it comes to El Jardin-TASTEY!!! Oh and you should ask for their bean dip with your chips and salsa-that itself could be a meal it's so good. I have had a variety of things from the menu and have never been anything less than satisfied when leaving. The food is GREAT, and the service....always with a smile by the friendliest servers. I've taken friends and family & they have all agreed it's very good. They always seem to be aware of our drinks (when they are running low) and always top us off before they're empty-(as being a waitress before, it's something I look for at a rstrnt). Every part of my experiences there have been excellent from the food to the service and the atmosphere itself, they have one side of the place that makes it comfortable and fun for families and the other side which is nice for couples looking to relax and enjoy each other-I've done both and it's great. I would highly recommend El Jardin to anyone looking for delicious food, friendly service and a good time. I hope I helped someone out with this review, good luck!

The worst mex food not authentic. taste like cardboard

We have been to El Jardin numerous times and the food, service and margaritas have always been wonderful. I have taken many friends from out of town all have love El Jardin. Highly recommend this restaurants

to each is own, my family and i tried the place and we loved it! the only thing was, i just wished they had HOMEMADE tortillas =), i think, what one person likes, maybe the other doesn't, you just have to try it to appreciate it !!!! oh, and be your own judge...

The lemon chicken tacos and chicken mole are some of our favorites. The service can be a little slow at times, but they are always friendly. Really good food, good prices, good portions, good chips and salsa.

If you notice the poor reviews, it is from the same person.. HMMM I wonder if he or she works for Cilantro's....???. I have tried both Cilantro's and El Jardin and by far El Jardin is much better. Cilantro's is horrible and I will never ever go there. The food is not authentic at all. El Jardin is not perfect, but they taste pretty good. They don't have a 12 year old greeting their customers and taking the order. My food was cold when it was given to me and I was the only one in there.
