Last week was my sons birthday, he was set on having fat guy pizza pie for his birthday dinner. My son said it was the BEST PIZZA EEVERR!! We will definitely be coming back next time we have a pizza craving.
Excellent high quality pizza cooked in an old style stone oven. Do yourself a favor and get the deep dish style. Their oven baked sandwiches and cheesy bread are incredible also! I get sick of pizza because we get it so often but I always look forward to their pie.
Excellent pizza, if you're tired of the national chains and their carboard tasting, thinnnn pizza. Give this place a try, I live in Hartland and drive about 18 miles one way to get something different. I've ordered four times before and I'll order for the fifth time tonight. I am a fan of small town pizza places, although about 25 dollars for 2 pizzas, his are larger than the others, and three flavors of sauce.. I like the regular, but he has spicy and that is good as well, but kids prefer normal.. But by the looks of his building, I imagine the lease is expensive,, so let's help him out,, Dominoes, Howies, Marcos, Ceasers, Jets, Hut and Dollys doesnt compare to this pizza, and for what you spend there, you will get more bang for the buck than the national chains, I promise.. The only thing that WAS comparable was Hartland House, also Toarminos big 3lb of cheese and 1 lb of pep pizza, and they're both gone now.. I assure you, I don't work for the place, just appreciate good pizza, and most small town places don't make it financially, ( like i said his bldg is beautiful, and brand new) hopefully Fat Guy does,, I give it an A-.. Hartland house was an A, Toarminas an A- Marcos a B, Little Ceasers a D, Hungry Howies a D+, Jets a B-, Pizza Hut a B, Dolly's a B-, Dominoe's a C and Cottage Inn a B-. I order Pizza once a week for me, the wife and the kids, but since it's so far from me, I grab Fat Guy about once a month, if they were closerI I would definitely be ordering once a week.. Give it a try Livingston County,, I've heard the Chicago Style is awesome, will definitely will give it a try next time..HAAcHwc
Ordered the Chicago syle pizza. It was Gooood! I liked it a lot. You get a lot for the money. Two slices and I was stuffed and I can eat a lot of pizza. Very tasty lots of great tasting cheese and sauce. Overall awesome!
I was looking for a pizza place around that made chicago style pizza and finally found Fat Guy's Pizza that way. It is DE-LICIOUS!!! WOW!
The crust and sauce are both yummy and the topping (or in the case of chicago style, the inner ingredients) are FIRST CLASS quality. Yummy spiciness to the pepperoni for example. It's much, much better than what you can get in Detroit in greek town and better even than what I have had in Chicago.
Fantastic taste and value.
The place was delicious. I didn't try the pizza.
The ambiance.... oh.... the ambiance. How shall I describe thee? It was, overwhelming. At first, I was impressed, and curious about the extreme ambiance, but as the evening progressed, I became frightened. It was an ambiant experience I will never forget. I like pizza.
