I've been going to this place for years. I absolutely love it. My favorite is the falafel with onions and lots of tahini. My second favorite is the kafta (also with lots of tahini). But lately, I've gotten into the habit of getting a side of taboulleh with tahini on it (very refreshing). As you can tell, I like the tahini. Pros: insanely delicious, healthy (esp with vegetarian options), cheap, open til 4am, quick Cons: often long lines, cramped, sometimes holes in the pita causing a massive mess (my adivice-keep the aluminum on the bottom and work your way down) If yout haven't been there, GO!

This place is wonderful for a quick bite! They are definitely experts in falafel, so if you re a connoisseur, check them out! It s not a sit-down restaurant, but almost a hole in the wall place. The perfect thing to eat on the way home, after a late night out. They always seem to be open. They always seem to be busy.

This is one of my favorite little places to eat near my home town. It is a small place with a lot to offer a customer. They have their own home made hot sauce that people love and I think it is the best! Try the falafel or the swarma and your taste buds will thank you!! Service is so friendly and nice and they never forget a face!!

Best in the city
By Min, 12/11/06
Probably the best falafel I had in the city so far. I especially like the extra spicy hot sauce that makes my eyes water. And it's cheaper than other falafel places.

The best falafel I've tasted ever!. The prices are super cheap. There are long lines sometimes but they move quickly. It is a bit small inside but it's the food that counts! Their tea and baklava is definetly something worth trying also.

Not sure it is the world's smallest restaurant
The food is excellent, but the place is so small, that you will need to wait in a line outside the restaurant, great in the summer but painful in the winter.

By Caleb, 3/6/06
I have known this place almost forever. The place is still small but the price and the service is still fast. And they are still at the same location even after all those year.. LOL... Oh by the way the Baklava and Shawma is awesome too. A must have if you are in Greenichvillage.

Small place, big value. Their hot sauce had me hurting the next day but was worth it! Had a table full of food for $15 and enjoyed every bit of it! Excellent falafel, great swarma (sp) and sides. Great summer joint for sure. Grab a falafel and go for a walk.
