This place is wonderful for a quick bite! They are definitely experts in falafel, so if you re a connoisseur, check them out! It s not a sit-down restaurant, but almost a hole in the wall place. The perfect thing to eat on the way home, after a late night out. They always seem to be open. They always seem to be busy.

This is one of my favorite little places to eat near my home town. It is a small place with a lot to offer a customer. They have their own home made hot sauce that people love and I think it is the best! Try the falafel or the swarma and your taste buds will thank you!! Service is so friendly and nice and they never forget a face!!

I have visited this place for many times. Not very big but whatever it proves its worth. All the best!

I've been going to this place for years. I absolutely love it. My favorite is the falafel with onions and lots of tahini. My second favorite is the kafta (also with lots of tahini). But lately, I've gotten into the habit of getting a side of taboulleh with tahini on it (very refreshing). As you can tell, I like the tahini. Pros: insanely delicious, healthy (esp with vegetarian options), cheap, open til 4am, quick Cons: often long lines, cramped, sometimes holes in the pita causing a massive mess (my adivice-keep the aluminum on the bottom and work your way down) If yout haven't been there, GO!

Best Falafel in Town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/9/10
I think it really has something to do with the sauce they use, or maybe I am a little intoxicated whenever I come here at 4 am, but this place is always my go to spot after going out in the city. Can't get enough of it.

Their falafel is the best in the village! if you want very good, quick falafel this is the place to go, but be prepared to wait in line sometimes.

Unbelievable value for the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/09
While it may not contend for the best falafel in the city, it's up there, and you can't beat their unbelievably low prices. There will probably be a line when you go, but don't let that discourage you. They keep things moving fast and you'll be happy, full and with spare change in your pocket in no time.

Always a must since my college days, now that I return on business it is a requirement. Try chicken kabab sandwich woth lots of their tangy hotsauce, take napkins and be prepared to stand and eat or share with a total stranger

I invent ways to re-route my Manhattan errands/trips to "detour" to Mamoun's for a schawarma followed by a baklava with hot spiced tea. The cramped space makes for "reluctant socializing" with the strangers (with whom) you are forced to share one of the only two wooden booths or outside benches. Funny thing about yummy food, though: It makes you part ways as "20-minute friends"-- bonded by the "inside scoop" that is Mamoun's.
