Yech! Salad and bread were good, but then came the entree. The waitress asked if we had any questions concerning the menu. We asked if the Cod Tomasso had buttery sauce on it, as we were trying to find a light sauce.
She said It says on the Menu . We asked again if it was in a butter sauce.
It doesn t say so on the menu She was rude. She asked if we had questions, and when we did, She did not answer them. We said We did NOT want butter sauce. We ordered Cod Tomasso, which did not say anything about BUTTER.
She might have checked with the Chef since we stated over and over we wanted something light. But no, She brought out these plates SWIMMING in butter. We tilted our plates in order to drain it off. How could she serve it like that? Later she brought napkins to soak up all the excess butter. She was Snotty, I asked her why she brought us that? She said , I ll get your bill .
We had never been there before, and we will NEVER go back. Their interest in gaining customers is not there. We tried to dab off the fish and eat what we could. It was not cheap. We wanted to be healthy and order fish, We got a plate full of Butter. YECH. And the plates had a funny dirty smell to them also. What was up with that? When we expressed our dislike for the plates of butter, our nasty older waitress said, This is a restaurant with sauces. We put sauces on things . Yeah? We would have ordered a tomato sauce then.
Speaking of Tomato sauce, I got a side of Pasta with tomato sauce. It was sickeningly SWEET. Why put so much sugar in tomato sauce? and My friend got a side of sauted spinich. He thought would be healthy. He took one bite and said it was sooo greasy , he could not eat it. It was totally coated in oil.
I guess it is a good place to go if you like a meal of GREASE.
We couldn t stop talking all evening about how awful the food was and the nasty mean waitress. Save yourself from this, and pick anywhere else to go .
