Mastro's Ocean Club - Newport Beach, Newport Beach

Located on PCH between Corona Del Mar and Laguna Beach, Mastro's is arguably one of the most expensive restaurants in the area, but the old adage �you get what you pay for� certainly applies here. Fantastic seafood and steaks (now personally my favorite steaks in OC), excellent bar with great ambiance and personable bartenders. If you�re like me and like to �pop in� and eat dinner at the bar (full menu available), avoid Thursday�s � it�s simply too packed and they often stop letting folks in after 7pm without a dinner reservation. The rest of the week it�s fun to have a few drinks while waiting for either a spot at the bar or one of the round bar tables to open up. Flat-screen TVs are usually showing whatever game is on, but there�s usually too much good people-watching to pay attention to the TV!
