Guerriero's, Morristown

What a great little local restaurant to get some authentic Italian food old school. Was out with some friends and it was so nice to have the owner approach our table and chat with the girls. He made us feel like we were in his kitchen. I must warn you--if you dont like garlic-this is NOT the place for you! They do a great job celebrating birthdays too!

Had a great meal and will definately be back for more... The owner Jack makes you feel very welcomed and his staff was very attentive. I had the Osso Bucco and was very pleased. We didn't have to wait, but saw that others were being turned away, so I would guess a reservation is in order.

Our family loves this place. Yes, it's loud but what Italian table isn't? The service is always good, the owner makes you feel at home and the food is terrific just like our Nonna's dining room

food was ok, small place and very very noisy. The owner walks around with a lit cigarette on his way outside. He was also a little ruff with us. it was 10:00 and we were going to order desert and my party of 4 was engaged in conversation and he approached us and said let get a move on here I have a date with my pillow by 11:00 and I want to get out of here. Better place for the money

The only thing that would make this place better is if they had a bar. Otherwise, the food we had was comprable eating in Little Italy. Portions were a good size and the quality and freshness of the food was fine. Seems as the place has a regular following and quite busy. Making a reservation would be wise. We definately will be back with our friends...

For a $17.95 entree, I would expect to either take some home or be very full. I ate my dish, which was OK, and I was still hungry. By the way, I am only 130 lbs. I big guy would have been still starving. My dish had artichokes & mushrooms, or at least that is what the menu said. I saw a half of an artichoke. The potato on my dish was most definitely frozen & small. It would have been nice if they included a small house salad with the meal. I also had to keep asking for more water & when they filled my glass, they didn't fill my boyfriend's glass. I would NEVER go back. I make much better food at home!
