Coach Insignia does not disappoint. Everything was excellent. To combine superior service, outstanding food, and the unparalleled atmosphere; is truly special. Every employee was welcoming and warm. A dinner here defines romance. We had a magical evening in Detroit.
The atmosphere is really great. I stopped in afterwork with some of my co workers and thoroughly enjoyed myself. While I only had a few drinks (death by chocolate is absolutely wonderful) I am going back this coming Friday to sample the menu.
From the 72nd floor of the General Motors building you can see gorgeous views and enjoy the BEST Filet Mignon ever! It is out of this world. I have had steak from New York to San Fransisco, and Detroit has the best here at Coach Insignia! You are treated with the utmost respect and your every wish is catered to. Absolutely worth every penney!
This resturant on top of the Ren Cen has re-opened. Its the 2nd highest restuarant in the country and even though it doesn't spin anymore, its still have beautiful views of the river, the city and Canada.
The menu is mainly steak and seafood. The crab cakes are to die for. They also have pretty good happy hour specials, with quite a few of the appetizers half off. They may seem expensive, but it is a 4 star restuarant, it makes a perfect romantic date place. They also have a dress code. No jeans, hats on main dinning level. You can sit at bar level, but must dress at least business casual to eat on main floor.
Must see in Detroit. All Matt Pretince resturants are great, they just opened a new one at the Star Southfield.
