The museum was kind of a bore. Maybe for 10 year olds its interesting. They had a couple of interesting things like a real shrunken head.
From what i remember the tickets were quite expensive.
I would not recomend going there
We home school our kids so we are always looking for something to stretch their imagination! This place really did it for them. There is a lot of reading so we got in a little reading practice. And we bought the pamphlet so afterwards we could have a guide to use as a discussion guide later. It was truly a cool place to visit. My 11-year-old girl and my 8-year-old son loved it, Along with my husband and my 60ish Mother in Law!
I have been to Ripleys 3 times in the past 7 years. My husband and I love it and my kids think its wild and crazy. I admit the price is somewhat high, but you can stay in there for a couple of hours and let the kids have fun exploring all the different artifacts. Every time we go back there is something new that we did not see the time before. DON'T MISS THIS ATTRACTION!! :)
Cheesy and not at all what you would think. The location is billed as amazing buut most of the "exhibits" are pictures, and/or bad recreations. One of these joints in every tourist vacation spot and are all the same no matter where you go.
This is a must for first time visitors. Full of odd and amazing facts. (I recommend that you take your time and not rush throught this exibit, so you can get your moneys worth.)The only downside is that this exibit tends to have a one time effect. At least for me, anyway.
