Geneva Lake Cruise Line

I have done this cruise more then once. They give a great tour of the lake and the hisory of the homes. If you like that sort of thing - you'll love it.

Our group of 11 adults went on the morning run and loved it. The ship's captain was full of interesting historical info about almost every house along the lake. It was great fun to watch the mail boy jump off at each stop and race to jump back on the boat as it passed by. We loved the dog who met the boat and took the mail in his mouth up to his house. Highly recommend this trip. Be sure to sit on the right side (starboard) on the top deck for the best views.

I have been on their cruises twice, and I plan to return this weekend on our honeymoon. I have taken an ice-cream social trip with a tour group of Mom's and Tots that I organized, it was lots of fun, although a rainy and cool day. More recently, I accompanied my teenage son and my elderly aunt from Rhode Island on the Mail Boat Tour. Not only do you learn alot about the history of old and new homes around the lake, you get to watch the mail-delivery girl jump off and on the boat, to deliver mail to homes around the lake! The boat barely slows down, but she makes it back on each time! I would definitely reccomend this trip. This weekend, we are going to tour a mansion that you can only access by this tour-line --should be GREAT!

Beautiful trip, exccellent food and beverages, excellent and friendly service. Everyone loved it! All the boats are in the harbor Memorial DAy weekend and beyond. The boat tour includes history of all the beautiful old homes and famous owners, ie the Wrigleys.
