Designer Edition Salon & Day Spa, Eau Claire

My pedicure lasted 50 minutes and that included drying time. The brochure had a wonderful discription and said it would be 75 minutes, the room was very relaxing but the tech never stopped talking and was swearing - not that I am a prude but I barely know her. This place is way over priced for what you get.

I bought a GC for my wife, and misplaced it in a move a month later. I talked to the owner (who seemed annoyed to have to deal with me, a member of her community) and showed her in my check book register the purchase only a short month or so before, also told her I would get the cancelled check. She told me they don't keep records and couldn't look it up. My wife told me that she would much rather go to any other aveda salon in Eau Claire anyway. Designer Edition is too overpriced for the area and obviously not looking for a good standing in the community.

I live in Eau Claire and have been there a few times, and will Never go back to this salon again. The stylists were good, but way overpriced. The salon itself seems thrown together and needs updating. Many friends have also had bad experiences with management. Definitely not worth the money.

That is absolutely horrible to have her take your children's hard earned money and render no services for it. Gift certificates should not have that short of a time to spend it. It is your money. This really disapointed me on top of the fact I have been in there a couple of times and the last time I was I asked several questions to the person at the desk. Obviously she had better things to do because she acted annoyed the whole time I was asking her about products and services. I didn't care for that sort of service so right down the road I went to Main Attractions. It was great. I had a facial and bought my products there. I have continued to do so ever since.

I loved it. I had a sports massage for an hour. I couldn't believe how WONDERFUL it was. I have been to pHd and other places for massages. Although the other places are much less expensive, this was well worth it. I would reccomend it to anyone!

Will never go this company again. My children saved their allowance for months and months to buy me a gift certificate from Designer Edition worth $100.00. I put the gift certificate away, thinking I had a year to use it. When I pulled it out a couple of days ago, I then noticed that it had gone a couple of months past the expiration date, which is now apparently 6 months from the purchase date. I called the owner and she was absolutely adamant that she would not honor it. Now she has my childrens hard earned allowance and she did not provide the service. May not have been a lot of money to her, but it sure was to us. Will never go there again.
