Timber Terrace Golf Club

My dad and I love to play this course, it is never busy and is beautifully set down by the chippewa river. The course is challenging but fun. You are almost guaranteed to see deer; we had 6 deer 10 yards away on the 4th tee and a family of 9 ran across the fairway on the 9th the last time we played there. This is a normal occurrence. This is a little gem hidden down by the river in Chippewa Falls.

This course has turned into the worst kept course in the Chippewa Valley. The fairways are full of bare spots, full of weeds and ant hills, the tee boxes are hard and very uneven and the bunkers are full of weeds and small saplings. It is very difficult to tell the fairway from the ruff because of how bad the mowing is. The new greenskeeper seems to be more concerned about "landscaping" (rocks and flowers) than the actual playability of the course. Keep in mind that I am a 4th year member of this course because in previous years it was beautiful and well kept. Next year my family and I will be looking for a membership elsewhere.

This short but testy 9-holer runs right along the river and has some very scenic and fun holes. Generally in very good condition, it is short but tight and worth the drive just north of Chippewa Falls metroplex.

This course was just awesome. The staff was very nice and accomodating, and the course itself was upkept really really nice. I would reccommend golfing here to anyone.

The course was very well kept. Easy to get a tee time without calling ahead of time. Should call ahead though if you want a cart when golfing. The deer are fun to watch especially with the fawns running around.

Great view along the river the greens are very nice and playability is great also you may even see the occasional deer wondering about. Staff was very friendly and accomidated me even though I didn't have a tee time set up. A+++
