I had heard that a performer I liked was playing in Cedarburg and wanted to check out more about the dates, costs, etc. The Cedarburg Cultural Center web site was great! I had no idea so much was going on in that town.
The setting for the performance was wonderful. Youre seated in a quiet, intimate setting with art all around you its a perfectly tranquil place that lends visual beauty to the wonderful sound. Add to this great venue the historic beauty of Cedarburg, and it well worth the trip! I know we'll be back.
I am anxious to participate in each of the up coming events

The CCCenter has continued to deal with historical, current and future (history in the making) programs and has become a valued location for the exhibitions of visual arts. The exhibits reach beyond pretty pictures by this I mean the visual arts showings are on the cutting edge in the arts world.(which evokes actions and reactions and much needed discussion in the expanded community) The music and drama aspects of the Center's programs continue to become more varied. (When I first began to visit the Center the music programs were soley Blues or Jazz.) Recently there has been several programs that bring in wonderful choral groups, ethnic musicals, and parts of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (Bach Babes). The inclusion of strong, high interest classes are offered each semester (or term) brings in students of very diverse ages and ethnic back grounds. Since my involvement with the Center as a participant with its many divergent types of up ward quality of offerings. It is a plce that no longer is just for the immediate community but offers events that reach way out to the widest areas, communities in the South Eastern part of Wisconsin. It is the place for individuals that want to experience all types of "life's" cultural experiences.
In visiting Cedarburg Wisconsin this weekend for the Winter Festival, I was thrilled by my experiences at the Cedarburg Cultural Center! The Cedarburg Cultural Center owns a magnificent historic museum, the Kuhefuss House, that is restored to the period of the 1930's. I was lucky enough to find this gem open on Saturday afternoon and was able to wander through a different era in time! Saturday evening I attended a wonderful comedy performance by the Cedarburg Cultural Center's resident theater group, McMann & Tate. Any visit to historic Cedarburg would not be complete without a stop to this arts center!
On this trip we saw a terrific exhibit of local artists and attended a Blues concert. The venue is great for concert goers. Their new schedule of art classes has a wide variety for kids and adults. This is a destination spot and if you are in the area go to their website to see if you can attend a show
Loved the Cedarburg Cultural Center and it's art galleries. Lots of high quality art to see and they have performances on weekends right in between the art galleries. What a great place to have in the middle of such a wonderful small town. I can't believe how nice it is to see the arts so alive. Wish my hometown of Pensacola had a place half this nice!
