Open to the public year round, the Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia features a main gallery made up of four railroad boxcars, a central exhibit area which features an average of three different yearly exhibits, a planetarium, the Mountain Homestead, a log cabin, barn, schoolhouse, moonshine still, blacksmith shop, and a country store.
