Buy a burger get food poisoning
By Lora, 01/25/10
In short: Mother intown to see (3) grand kids wants a quick burger and neat view, she wants to go to the Ram. When we left (2) hours later (not due to busy restaurant just lazy service) I was not pleased with the whole experience again (I live here and should have know better). But to our surprise we did get a gift before we left-Food poisoning. Within a hour Mom was not doing good, and (2) hours after that we were in the Hospital Emergency room. Luckly things passed and we were released by 2:00 AM, after giving the very helpful and curtious staff of the ER $1000.00. Will I ever go back? NO. When I called the next day about the unplesentness I was blow off ( ;) by the manager and that was that. A little "I don't know what could have happened, this has never happened before" routine and then he had more important business to attend to. If you want the view there are (3) other restaurants on the same strip that I, as a local, have yet to hear a negative thing about. If you want to try your luck and roll the food poisoning dice then more power to you. To sum up Price of meal (with food poisoning)- a little over $110.00 for (3) adults and (3) kids, one under two. Two adult beverages included Price of the ER visit- $1000.00 plus tax 1) Food poisoning-yes 2) Great/unique food-No 3)Great view-80/100 4)Great beer-They brew their own there, not half bad 5)Great service-Negative Ghost Rider 6)Food poisoning-Yes,Yes and it could happen to you PS- I would give it zero stars and a big skull and bones but that option is not available

BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/07
This is the first time we have ever felt like writing about bad service plus food, both were AWFUL. Our waiter in the lounge was more interested in talking to all his co-workers by a back door. When we were sitted we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. We asked for a menu and that took another 5 minutes to receieve. When we finally got our meal the wedge salad was brown and soggy. The bread on the steak sandwiches was to hard to bite through. The battered fish and chips were burnt (Of course the cook made sure this side was turned down).Actually the cobb salad was good. When we asked for the manager his only comment was that he was already trying to resolve another problem. Of course our concern was not important. Just now we were notified by the other couple we ate with that the manager came out to apolize and said the waiter had someone else complain too. Interesting, because we will not recommend The Ram to others or take our guests there anymore. Yes this can happen at any establishment but this experience by far was BAD,BAD,BAD! We spent $83.15 and left no tip, JOSEF C did not serve your company or us well. Thank You for reviewing your staff training. TOO MANY EMPLOYEES, NOT ENOUGH SUPERVISION.

The service is wonderfull. Polite and very friendly. The seafood is very good here. I haven't tried the other dishes. If you get a window seat, the view of the bay is fantastic!!

Not worth it
By Nanna, 07/08/04
Two out of three visits to this restaurant were unsatisfactory. We're not going back. Both times the food was very slow in getting to our table, yet the restaurant was not terribly busy. We got the appetizer quickly, but waited nearly an hour for our lunch. The food was of questionable quality, whether from poor preparation or subpar ingredients, or both. This restaurant has a huge sports bar, so perhaps their food is more suited to their customers who have been drinking. Excessively.
