Architectural Gem

The main section of the library was completed in 1913 and is a wonderful example of French Beaux Arts architecture. The interior was renovated a few years ago and is also gorgeous--stained glass dome, beautiful curving wooden stairs, glass stack floors to mention a few things. There is also a small gift shop just inside the entrance rotunda.

The archives and the library in general is user-friendly and normally the staff is very helpful.
