A Great Place for Beer and Entrees
We went on Monday, and the place was somewhat dead. However, it was still early (6ish). We were pleasantly surprised to find all entrees were $9. There are daily specials, not only on the menu, but also as far as pricing. For examples, Wednesday has half-price wine, I believe.
Portions were reasonable, to the point where neither of us could find room for dessert. Fries are battered and compare favorably with any I've ever had. I had the Guinness-marinaded cheesesteak, with Gouda, and it was outstanding.
A large supply of beers, including Virginian, domestic, and imported, were available on tap. Additionally, there were a TON of beers available in bottles, making this an excellent stop for anyone who enjoys a frosty adult beverage. There was even a gluten-free beer, which is clutch for those who have wheat allergies. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys great food, and great beer. Coupled with a trip to the Williamsburg AleWorks, it's a beer lover's haven.
