See the World's largest naval installation aboard this unique, navy-themed vessel that provides two hour fascinating, fact-filled narrated tours that depart from the Nauticus Docks, home to the Battleship Wisconsin. You'll see an array of sights such as aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines, guided missile cruisers, and all of the other ships that form the World's most powerful Armada during this tour.
The best way to experience the Naval Base Norfolk. Skipper was extremely informative - named every ship and sub we saw, told us all about them, everything. We saw the Big E (Enterprise) carrier, Cole, and loads of others. A must experience for locals and visitors.
This tour was such a great tour when I was in the area. The crew and captain could not have been any nicer! Mary Kate was so welcoming and Nash was so informative. I would recommend this tour to anybody in the area to go and check out! I even got to take a picture with the crew to remember my time here in Norfolk.
This was a great tour. We looked at all the tours that were offered and decided on this one. It was great! The guides were informative and knowledgeable about the all the ships. We were recommending it to everyone at the convention we came to attend. We are from Texas and have nothing like this. The only problem was the didn't have a shirt that would fit my husband. Maybe next time. This is well worth the money!
We got offered a naval base cruise option when we visited the Nautical museum. My family enjoyed the museum tour but the boat ride was cramped and overcrowded. The day we went on the boat it was very hot and I don't think their air conditioning was working. When we got to the navy ships, everyone rushed to one side of the boat and we could barely see the ships. They had a crew member upstairs that would stand at the front and made us uncomfortable by staring at us constantly. We cannot recommend this tour.
This is one of the best naval base cruises. The narration was so informative and relaxing. I have been several times already and I can't wait to go back. We saw so may ships and the USS Cole. We also got a chance to see three aircraft carriers which was awsome. I wouldn't ever go on any other harbor cruise but the Victory Rover to see the naval base. Everytime that I come into Norfolk for busness I always and take the cruise on the Vicoty Rover.
This was one of the most informative and relaxing cruises that I have ever been on. I am a Hampton Roads native, but never had the time to take this tour. I am glad that I did though! You can expect a great time for all ages.
