FABULOUS! GRAND PERFORMANCE!

I have seen the movie, "1776". I own the DVD, as well as the CD..so I consider myself a critic of the play.
I saw the live play "1776" at the Peninsula Community Theater on May 27th. It simply could not have been better! What great actors/actresses who sang and performed! ALL of the cast should be in Hollywood. They acted with such professionalism, that I was stunned to read that they were school teachers, etc! They looked and acted the part of 1776 to much realism! I'm a huge fan of Thomas Jefferson's and I think that he'd be pleased with this production..especially the fact that the producers did not cave into politically correct "changes" in this great rendition of such a wonderful play. It was a great historical lesson brought to life...a scene from our past that protrayed how our country was formed & the sacrifices made to accomplish this tremendous feat. Three cheers to those who made "1776" a reality!! I hope to see other plays at the PCT!
