Nice but not much to see.
By ,
Very nice and the tour guide was very knowledgable but had very few items that were actually owned by the Jacksons. Tour is very short.

Jackson's Private Life Introduced
By ,
Since most people familiar with Jackson know all about his military life, I liked the fact that the tour guide focused his narrative on Jackson's private and home life. This presented a whole new side to the man that honestly, I never even thought about. After the tour, while walking through town, my family ran into the tour guide. This young man continued answering our questions about Jackson as he walked with us toward Washington and Lee University. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day in Lexington.

Well Worth the Visit
By ,
This is the only house that Lt. Gen. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson ever owned and it is beautifully restored. There is a very nice museum shop in the basement of the house. Very friendly staff. Very nice display describing Jackson's life. Jackson and his family are buried just up the street. Admission is $6 per person - $5 with AAA membership.
