Captain Hogg's Charter Fishing Service, Hampton

We had a blast and caught some huge fish! Captain was cool and the first mate was pro. Definitely will be booking Hogg's again.

My family went fishing with Captain Hogg on the AWSOME Smokin Gun II. The fish we caught were very good to eat, also they were cleaned by the mate Ed, a must see this guy cleaned about 50 fish on the way back to the dock (only about 25 minutes). We got to see Dolphines, navy ships and even a couple of lighthouses. Everybody had fun from my 4 year old son to my 17 year old daughter, and yes my wife even said she enjoyed the great family time. I would recomend this fishing trip to anybody.

The pole dancers where really a surprise. The fish we caught were wonderful. Lots of fun. Would do it again!

I just wanted to say thanks to Captain Hogg and Mate Ed for giving me and my family a great day on the water and some great memories! The boat was spacious and very comfortable, the Captain and Mate were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire day. We caught spadefish, spanish mackerel and even a couple of big red drum...these fish were HUGE!! We will definitely be back next year!!

Took my son and two grandkids fishing for a half day with Captain Hogg. The boat was spotless, Captain Hogg and mate Ed were friendly and helpful all through the booking and boarding process. Smokin' Gun II can really move on the water! We were fishing in no time and into fish right away. Within 15 minutes of starting to fish my 11 year old granddaughter landed a hog of a Black Drum! She ended up with 6 ish species and a lifetime of memories. My 7 year old grandson did equally as well and is now hooked on salt water fishing! Mate Ed was everywhere at once making sure everything was perfect. From start to finish this was a great experience and I would gladly recommend the charter.

I did not fish on this boat, but i called for Info. on charter and i never do these things but just had to call back to let the person know how rude i felt he was to me. In his defense he did say that he had had a hard time hearing me but i felt the second time he answered the phone with the same number i called from 3 min. earlier told me everything i needed to know. I can believe the other negative comments.Unless someone personally told me something good about them than i just cannot believe the positives.

This captain had everthing covered from bait and tackle and the knowledge needed to make our trip the best ever. we will be clients for ever!!!!!

Nice size boat Captain and Mate were knowlegable and heplful... Nice day caught several spadefish and few blue fish. Didnt catch lots of fish but it is called fishing and not catching. Will this boat if fishing again in the chesepeake bay.

seems just into for money very bad social ties how ever good mate cant believe he acted like that over a pack of nabs totally overreacted under anyones standards

Friends and I have used Captain Hogg's Charter Service to catch a variety of fish such as flounders and stripers. We started out catching fishing that could be used for bait and then it ended up being we fished for croakers the whole day. The Captain, I believed (in my opinion), made sure we did not catch anything big. We caught baby fish to 1 to 2 pound fish. There was also verbage and almost an altercation between the Captain and one of the guest of the boat over an honest mistake. From this altercation, the Captain had full throttled the boat back towards the pier while threatening to kick this person off the boat. The Captain did not have our safety in mind at this point. I believe the Captain intentions were to ruin our good time as much as possible. The only person who showed true professionalism was the first mate. I hope he has the energy to get his own boat. I can not in my experience, recommend Captain Hogg's Charter Fishing Service.
