Pandapas Pond, Blacksburg

I have been going to Pandapas pond to mountain bike for two years. Everytime I visit it is an adventure and is very nice. The trails are almost always maintained. The only time that I have had problems with maintance is after a terrible storm or in the spring right after the snow melts. The new signs are easy to read and understand so there is never any problems of fear of getting lost. The scenery is very nice. If I want sometime to relax I can just sit at a park bench and watch the ducks or other wild life surrounding the pond. There are lots of opportunities to learn more about the wildlife and creatures at pandapas pond through Claytor Lake State Park. Pandapas pond puts out activities for every month so it is also family orientedl. I would recommend going to Pandapas Pond to anyone who loves the outdoors. Visitors can always hike, bike, walk their dogs, and even horseback ride. It can also be a great place for couples to attend with picnics.
