Mountain Lake Wilderness

Mt. Lake is really a gorgeous place. I had been there years ago and was surprised to the see the lake so low. However, I got a chance to speak with the director of the Conservancy at Mt. Lake--the organization that protects the environment up there--andhe was really informative and very funny. His knowledge of the lake's cycles really put it in perspecetive for me. Everyone was really nice like that. I do wish the food was a bit better, but the outdoor recreation was amazing!
