Chantilly Lace

Chantilly Lace is one of the only upscale bridal/prom/tuxedo shops in the Blacksburg and SW Virginia area, so for many, this store is the only choice. Chantilly gets business by default. The store is obviously aware of this, as the salespeople are rude and inefficient, the alterations are improperly scheduled and with little regard to the bride's wishes, and the customer is treated as an inconvenience rather than their lifeblood. In short, customer service is awful. The people there are disrespectful and rude, and they don't handle your dress - the dress you're going to wear on one of the most important days of your life - with any sort of respect towards you as a customer. Although they're the only place to go in SW VA, I'd suggest driving a little further to Roanoke or going to NC. It's worth it if you want to be treated like a person instead of an inconvenience.
