Green Mountain Hooked Rugs, Montpelier

Offering a full line of rug hooking supplies including hooks, cutters, frames, patterns, kits, backings, dyes, magazines and books. They also consign and sell hand-hooked rugs, and stock more than 200 bolts of 100 percent wool fabric, a wide selection of dyed wools, studio swatches, and wool yarn. Custom dyeing services are available, as well as cutting machine cleaning and repair. Green Mountain Rug School, held annually in June, provides hands-on instruction for the beginning rug hooker to the experienced textile artist in traditional and contemporary rug hooking techniques.
