What VT should always offer!

This farm not only appeared in great condition, but when we were able to go inside and look around, we were really given a taste of what true Vermont is all about. The staff was inviting and very polite, and the overall atmosphere gave us a sence of home and belonging as soon as we stepped into the main barn. We were informed of the deep history rooted in Morgan horses, and the impact that Vermont state has fed off the breed.
Being a owner of my own horses, I was quite pleased of the condition of the barns and the horses. Everything was clean and tidy, and all horses were in good weight and fit. Stalls were properly cleaned, and every horse seemed to be groomed well. I especially noted on the appearance of the broodmares and their offspring, for when I have visited other farms, these two sections seemed to get a sort of neglect until either mare or foal was in use again. The management of the farm has clearly done a good job!
I would recommend any visitor to come to the farm in the springtime, when most offspring is being foaled. This is a unique oppurtunity to watch life come from the farm, and it is quite entertaining and pleasing to see the young foals out in play and measure. The UVM horse farm is definitely a visit worth stopping for. It is a good day trip for youth through adult, in-state or out of state guests. I give this establishment a 5.
