Brian Head Ski & Summer Area, Cedar City

This is my favorite ski resort where the best snow on earth is only a 6 hr drive from Orange County California. On your drive there, stop in Las Vegas and have a bargain meal. Stay in St. George or Cedar City. Spend an hour on the road and start skiing a 8:00. Try the "Giant Step" and get some air. Have a great 2 day weekend. To snow is always great and since this is my secret place, there no long lift lines. The drive is a dream and the snow is the dry powder most only dream about. Since this is an easy weekend trip, just like about how great a whole week could be. Enjoy.

Took the kids in the summer for one week, rented a condo (much cheaper in summer) and went fishing, rode the lifts, went swimming in indoor pool, and enjoyed the summer rains! The have a great pizza place, and not a far drive to Cedar City for anything else you might need
