Summit Climbing Gym, Grapevine

I used to really like this place (it's clean and in a convenient location for me), but the more I've learned about the gym, the more my concerns have grown: Someone was paralyzed at this gym a couple of weeks ago. That's all I'm going to mention about the incident because it's a legal matter. Someone's car was broken into awhile back, but I've been by there many times at night and found the parking lot lights to be *completely* off. I strongly suspect they sold my name and address to at least one solicitor. Since I began climbing there, I started receiving junk mail from a "green" energy company. I didn't make the association with the gym until I attended a comp there and was approached by someone from that energy company. Very uncool. I paid a lot of money to climb at the gym and certainly don't want to be subjected to environmentalist solicitors there, especially at a place that doesn't have one recycling bin in sight despite the fact that the majority of their trash consists of bottles and cans from beverage sales. For those to whom it may matter, I found out their current General Manager (hired relatively recently) is a non-climber. Unless there are some drastic improvements in how this place is run, I cannot recommend this gym to others due to safety and privacy concerns.
