We will not be returning
By ,
I was very disappointed with the Gardens. The whole place seemed to be a BIG MESS. My son was excited to see the butterflies in the butterfly house...there were none. The Bromlaid House was also a mess. They have some sad looking parrots caged up in there. The Orchid House has the prettiest flowers on display. It is ruined by seeing this grey parrot kept in a small cage, all alone in there. It looked very lonely and there arent even any windows for it to see out of. No intelligent being like this should be confined in a dark, quiet, lonely house. What are they thinking? All the birds looked thin and unkept. The gift shop is nice and the ladies are quite helpful.

A great way to spend a morning
By ,
It was a great garden with lots to see and do. The butterfly house was nice and had quite a few nice (and friendly) butterflies. My wife liked the orchid house and there were quite a few parrots and bird cages all about the grounds, a nice touch. The Flamigos were interesting as they have a pink flamingo dress up contest going on. And a nice little gift shop with a variety of items for both grownups and kids.

Nice Gardens and grat value
By ,
We enjoyed the visit to the Botanical gardens. It's $6 for adults and we spend 2 hours at the center. I thought it was good value. The rose garden is very cool. There is plenty of covered trails which helps in the Texas heat. It's worth visiting.
