Disappointed
The city itself has been my all-time family vacation spot. My best childhood memories that I cherish the most are there in Corpus Christi. But to me every place has that one special landmark that I pin most of my memories to. In Corpus Christ, it was the carousel at the mall. I was disappointed to find out years later when I return that the Carousel was removed.
But aside from my personal life, the mall has changed a lot. The food court which was once located upstairs was moved downstairs with some more variety to choose from, and now there is a fancy Valet parking.
The mall is JAM PACKED with clothing, clothing, clothing, and MORE clothing stores. I'm not sure who said that it needs more clothing stores, it has enough. Come on, if it covers your body then it's FINE, I am not one that is going to pay extra only because i want fancy stripes in my plain black shirt or some stupid initials. I don't care if its "Hip it's now" or "in style", i don't really care for anything of that nonsense. The clothes won't define who I am, I DEFINE who I am with who I am, not what I wear. I would like a mall with VARIETY. The only VARIETY I have now is at the Food Court.
The only true upgrade was the Food Court, everything else seemed to have gone downhill. They need MORE stores that require some sort of activity, and the exercise place was somewhat of a nice touch. However, it's no longer the same, it feels like it went downhill.
