Wonderland Park, Amarillo

by Ronald 12/11/2011 If you want to spend up to a hour or two waiting in line to ride rides that cost you over 50 to 75 dollars to get in go to Six Flags. Sure they have bigger and scarier rides but you spend 8 hours to ride maybe 6 or 10 rides. At wonderland you spend 8 hours riding ride after rides on the weekend for 10 to 25 dollars per person. Your choice spend a lot for a little or go to the best and cleanest amusement park in Texas. Wonderland is rated the third largest amusement park in Texas. It is an amusement park and not a theme park. You won't find a more family friendly and the cleanest park in the state. They strive to make your day at the park enjoyable and safe. With over 29 rides for all ages and arcades for fun, and all kinds of food, your day at wonderland will be a great time for you and your kids. I would spend my time at wonderland and enjoy the day going from ride to ride than spending hours standing in line waiting to ride a ride and it won't cost near as much in the long run.

I dislike absolutely nothingabout it. I currently live in San Diego, Ca., but grew up in Amarillo and left in '79. I am 45. One of the last things I remember about having fun there was going to "Wonderland Park". I used to pull weeds out of lawns to gain money to go to the park on the weekends. To even see this website and know the park is still there and running is extremely cool. If you plan on going, Enjoy. L8-

wonderland is a great place for couples and children of all ages and where better than to have your childs birthday there!! i totally recomend it!!

I LIKE THE PLACE BUT NOT THE INFORMATION ABOUT IT!!! WHATS NEW WHATS COOL how much ?did the prices change? the rides are old!!!! people want to now that so they can get costumers!!!! pplleeeaaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee put a two new rides in wonderland itssssssssssssssss very old on the same ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanx a fan of the old WoNdErLaNd =]

Wonderland park is so clean and neat.. It offers alot of fun for any age group. No long lines and the people there are wonderful. Thanks for keeping this park up thru the years. I use to go there when I was in school. Elementary thru High School. Then we started taking the kids there . The bigger parks, are more expensive and so much walking to do .. Thanks again for keeping it beautiful

Great fun for a small mom and pop park. The only problem is that Amarrillo has wanna be gang members and sometimes they show up at the park with their ridiculous jewelery and even more ludicrous clothing.

WONDERLAND PARK FEATURES GREAT RIDES, AFFORDABLE FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE. NICE PEOPLE TOO. KIDS OF ALL AGES WILL LOVE. NO LONG LINES EITHER.

It is good for people who would like to stay in the park especially to the kids. They are enjoy and safe in playing around.

i loved the price and so did everyone else in my family it is so cheap to have a full day of fun! the bathrooms need work but dont all public bathrooms!? the people in the office are so friendly and they always were very nice to me! i'm not sure if they still have Max the wonder dog but he was a joy to have around ! i love that park!

A visit to Wonderland is an old fashioned good time. There is a great variety of rides for all ages. The park is clean and the lines are short. Compared to the big parks, you spend your time riding and having fun instead of standing in line.
