Loved it, Traveled to BB in 2003 with 2 kids saw the park and had hooked up with the woodards to do some exploring, had a great day in the warm sun and collected a few keeper. The kids ages 6 & 8, had som much fun they wanted to go exploring again the next day on our way to alpine. We came back and found what we though was glass and turnout to be Labradite. We have been out of the country for 4 years but are planning our trip to BB Dec 2009 and Woodward ranch is back 2nd on the list to the park. The woodwards are gracious hosts to their volcano and extensive ranch. Enjoy we did
Several years ago, when I retired from education, I looked for a place to wind down. I found "my place" at the Woodward Ranch. I can say honestly, that I have never been to a place more beautiful and pleasant. I fell in love with the country, and with the open space. Jayson and Trey Woodward were excellent hosts. They gave freely of their limited time to make a city person comfortable. I have returned many times, and look forward to each trip. No negatives here, just a genuine feeling of being one with God's creation.
