Little River Railroad & Lumber Company Museum
This historical museum displays artifacts and memorabilia of the railroad and lumber operations of this old company town. It is run by a non-profit organization who seeks to preserve the significance of the lumber company to the community; therefore, donations are accepted, but admission to the museum is free.
Free. (Donations accepted and appreciated) This is great place to learn the history of Townsend. The kids loved the trains and the other artifacts. The gentlement at the museum gave us a lot of information. Gift shop is nice too.
